Chip has improved so much since he started training with us! He now is much more relaxed, happier, and calmer overall. He listens well in the house and even out in public. Walks are enjoyable now that he doesnt pull or react to other dogs.
We tried to get some video of him walking past other dogs, but even though it was a nice day out, the dog park was empty. We did get some video of the one dog in the park running along the fence as we walked past. And a couple of dogs were walking in as we were leaving. Chip was curious, but stayed in command and didnt react at all!

Chip got to go on a field trip a little bit early. He is supposed to start his field trips next week, but he has been doing really good at the house. So we went to the park with little distractions to see our baseline. He tested boundaries for sure. Which is expected when changing environment. Over all he did good, aside from not holding his Down/stay very well. He gave us trouble with Down when we first started in the house as well. But since that has greatly improved, his Down in public will too with some more practice! We have a lot of field trips planned for Chip in the upcoming week.

Cowboy has also been learning how to walk nicely on leash and has been doing great on his e-collar! He is ready for field trips!

Chip has been learning how to walk politely on the leash. He had a habit of pulling and being super on edge looking around us for other dogs. Now, he is calm, follows my lead, and is no longer worried about what is around us. Its a lot less stressful to take him on a walk and he seems to enjoy it more! He is still e-collar training, but once he has the hang of that, he'll be ready for field trips!

Chip has been working on his reactivity a lot lately. Being around all kinds of dogs has really helped! We were able to have my sister come visit without Chip reacting to her. Actually, he wasnt even bothered by a new person being here. He went and stayed on Place perfectly. Because he was doing so well, we pushed it a little farther and brought Cowboy out to work on the dog reactivity. Chip did great with him too! No reaction except for sniffing in Cowboy's direction. Chip is doing very well with his indoor commands. It is time to start his outdoor training and e-collar!

Cowboy is back for another Board and Train!

After doing basic training last year as a puppy, he is back to do his e-collar training and to work on some reactivity while on leash.

We have spent the past few days seeing what obedience he has remembered and if we need to re-teach anything. This boy actually remembered it all! Aside from some reminders on the stay portion of his commands, he does really well. We have started transitioning his training to an e-collar for reliable off-leash obedience.

Chip has joined us for a 4 week Board and Train!

Chip is here to work on his reactivity to dogs. After moving from a multi-dog household to being the only dog, Chip has started showing reactivity to other dogs when out on walks. He barks and lunges until the dog is out of sight. His owner wants to get another dog, but wants to be sure Chip's reactivity isnt a bad influence.

We are starting with basic manners and obedience with Chip to set a good foundation. He is learning to accept the other dogs here and pay attention to my instruction instead. After a few days, he now trusts me to keep him safe and is no longer bothered by the annoying puppy in the crate. 😆

I'm excited to see how much we can teach this smart boy in the time he is with us!

Bruno has learned a lot in his 3 weeks of training. He thrives under structure and is his most happiest! He loves to train, even though he can still be stubborn with his Down, he has a joyful attitude throughout our sessions. He now not only walks on a leash, but Heels right next to me and follows my lead. 😊

Zeus is growing so fast!! Hes been working really hard and has learned a lot of new skills. He is still his puppy-self though, but is a lot more controllable and will be easier for his owners to handle as he continues to grow.

We are going everywhere trying to find the perfect paint color for my room, so Chewie has been tagging along! We had a technical difficulty or two, with the camera not cooperating. But Chewie was a good boy. He was a little more over-stimulated with this Home Depot than he was with other stores, but still did well walking and staying with me. He wanted to sniff a couple of people. All of his reactions have been super friendly! He is always ready to go home, though! He does prefer a more calm environment, but is happy to tag along for quick outings.
