We honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

Here are a few quick Memorial Day safety reminders:
☀️ Never leave pets in hot vehicles
🌭 Keep table scraps, bones, alcohol, and desserts out of reach
🎆 Loud gatherings and fireworks can cause anxiety and escapes
🚪 Be mindful of open gates and doors with guests coming and going
💧 Make sure pets have plenty of fresh water and shade outdoors

✨🐾 We love showing our patients that the hospital doesn’t have to be a scary place! This baby kitty had a blood test to check for feline leukemia and FIV (negative for both-yay!). She got some yummy Churu paste and a quick play session to reinforce a positive visit😻 (sound on to hear her purring❤️)

🥑 • Guac is a No-Go: Avocado, onions, and garlic are toxic to pets. Keep the dip for the humans!
🍺• Alcohol is a major safety hazard for pets. Stick to fresh water or a splash of tuna juice for 🐈 or watermelon 🍉for dogs.
🎶Siesta over Fiesta: If the music gets too loud, make sure your pet has a quiet spot to retreat to. 🇲🇽

The face you make when you got caught eating the chocolate muffin wrapper! 😭 Chocolate is toxic to dogs and luckily Tater Tot’s mom noticed right away and brought him in to induce vomiting. The wrapper came right out and then he gave us the sad puppy dog eyes 🥺🍫🚫
