Happy National Dog Day from the Canine Copilots of Conejo Valley Equine! 🐾🐾🐾

While our clinical focus is dedicated to the health and athletic performance of your horses, behind the scenes there is a pack of four- legged assistants keeping our spirits high every single day. From riding sh***un in our vet trucks to holding down the fort at our office, or giving us a warm welcome home after a long day- our dogs are truly part of the Conejo Valley Equine family. Long emergency calls and hot summer afternoons are always a little brighter with a loyal copilot in the passenger seat, reminding us why we love working with animals so much.

We had another good foot abscess today! Although they are more common with the mud, abscesses are a routine occurrence year round, and can be incredibly satisfying when you get drainage like this! Now I need to remember to take photos of things other than abscesses and teeth… 😂
