One of My Favorite Enrichment Tools

As a dog trainer, one of the questions I hear most often is:

Old Charlie got to hang out with his pals including his Dock Diving buddy Paisley. Paisley and Charlie are now senior dogs and used to compete together. Paisley is still competing- we will be cheering him on 🎉🎉

When this police dog visited an elementary school, the officers probably expected the kids to ask serious questions about training, safety, and police work. Instead, the children immediately decided the K9 needed a complete makeover. 😂🐾

Within minutes, the very serious working dog was covered in colorful stickers from head to tail while the kids proudly decorated him like a walking art project. And somehow, the funniest part was how calm he stayed through the entire thing. No barking, no resisting — just sitting there patiently like he fully accepted his new career as a kindergarten celebrity. 😭

Photos of the moment spread online because people couldn’t get over the contrast between a highly trained police dog and the absolute chaos of tiny children covering him in stickers. One second he looked ready for duty… the next he looked like he lost a bet at arts and crafts time. 😂

But honestly, moments like this are part of why community visits matter so much. The kids weren’t afraid of him. They trusted him, loved him, and turned him into their newest best friend for the day.

And deep down, you just know that dog secretly enjoyed every second of the attention. ❤️
