Alyssa~ Pet Care Specialist

I have been working with animals since I started working at 16, and have lived and cared for them even longer than that! I absolutely love animals of all kinds, no matter the species or specialties!

I used to work on a farm with horses, goats, chickens, ducks and many other creatures. From there I was a pet specialist and the Adoptions Ambassador for Petsmart.

I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and am enjoying working with animals in the meantime on my journey to go back to school.

Chelsea ~ Pet Care Specialist

I have an interest and a love for all living things. Growing up in Georgia I was surrounded by life, from our dog's Ruphus and Baxter at home, to alligators in the rivers and cicadas in the trees.

This led me to study biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During my college years I worked at Petsmart as a store associate and doggie day care specialist. I learned a lot there about dog breeds and dog behavior from our awesome trainers on site.

Since then, I have pet sat and helped teach simple commands to many different dog breeds from Shih tzus to Huskies. I also had the pleasure of helping a homestead in Steamboat Springs by milking their Alpine goats and tending to the chickens.

I had my own cat, Eiwoh, by my side for 17 years. She was a Tortoiseshell cat with lots of tortitude. I know these animals just aren't our pets, they are our family. I find a lot of joy in caring for fur babies and giving them the love and attention they deserve.
