🐎❤️ HORSE OF THE MONTH: GUNNER ❤️🐎

Everyone, meet Gunner — the new guy on the block! 🥰

Gunner is a 2-year-old OTTB stallion who has recently joined the Tasch Stables family, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch his journey unfold!

Despite being only 2 years old, Gunner has been ridden daily and is coming along absolutely AMAZING! 🙌🏼🐴

One thing we’re especially proud of is how willing and well-behaved he has been during his training. So far, Gunner has not bucked, reared, or even offered to kick while being ridden. He has been taking everything in stride and showing us more and more of his potential every day. ❤️

Of course, he’s still a young horse with lots to learn, so we’re taking things one day at a time and giving him the time, patience, and consistency he needs to become the best horse he can be.

We are SO excited to see where this boy goes! 🥹❤️

😂🐴 WHEN Tori gets overheated… SHE JOINS THE HORSES! 🥵💦

Today’s heat officially got the best of Tori Newberry! 😂 After getting back to the barn, Tori decided the only reasonable solution was to climb straight into the horses’ water trough! 🤣🐴💦

The horses were probably thinking, “Umm… excuse me, this is OUR pool.” 😂

But honestly, we can’t blame her. It was HOT! 🥵☀️

And before anyone comes for us — YES, the water trough was completely cleaned out afterward! 😂 We may be crazy horse people, but we still have standards!

🎃🐴 ANOTHER HUGE SHOUTOUT TO AN AMAZING COMMUNITY SUPPORTER! 🐴🎃

While I was out in Thomson today looking for sponsors for our upcoming Haunted Hooves Horse Show, I met the sweetest person in the most unexpected way!

Dawn Sanders, from EARTHWORKS Grading & Contracting, LLC, was simply waiting in line when she heard about what we are doing at Tasch Stables. Instead of just walking away, Dawn chose to step up and become a Haunted Hooves Sponsor! 🎃🐴❤️

Today, while I was out in Thomson looking for sponsors for our upcoming Haunted Hooves Horse Show, I stopped by Hidden Treasures and had the pleasure of meeting Frances Brice and Erika McTier. ❤️

Not only were they incredibly kind and welcoming, but they each personally chose to become a Spooky Sponsor of our event! 🎃👻

What makes this even more meaningful is that they chose to give out of their own pockets to help support what we are trying to do at Tasch Stables. 🎃🐴 A HUGE THANK YOU TO THESE AMAZING LADIES! 🐴🎃

While I was out in Thomson today looking for sponsors for our upcoming Haunted Hooves Horse Show, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting these three wonderful ladies at Hidden Treasures. What started as me simply asking about sponsorships turned into something that meant so much more. ❤️

Two of these ladies chose to become Spooky Sponsors, and one chose to become a Haunted Hooves Sponsor — and what makes it even more special is that they generously donated out of their own pockets to help support our event and our horses. 🥹🐴

Their donations will help us with the costs of caring for our surrendered and rescued horses, including helping cover the expenses of keeping these horses safe, fed, and cared for at our barn. 📚🐴 A LITTLE HAUNTED HOOVES UPDATE! 🎃👻
Before we headed out to visit some of the local businesses in Thomson, we made a quick stop at the Thomson Library to get some of our Haunted Hooves paperwork and materials printed! 📋🖨️

Then it was time to hit the road! 🚗🐴 We spent some time visiting local businesses around Thomson and introducing them to Tasch Stables and our upcoming Haunted Hooves Novice Horse Show. We weren’t out there asking for handouts — we simply wanted to meet with members of our local community, share what we’re doing, and see if any local businesses would be interested in becoming part of the event through sponsorship or donations. ❤️

Tasch Stables is about more than just riding lessons. 🐴💙 We also take in surrendered horses and rescue horses, giving them a safe place to land and, when appropriate, allowing them to become part of our lesson program. These horses help our riders learn, grow, build confidence, and experience the responsibility and connection that comes with caring for a horse.

That’s why community support means so much to us. Every sponsor, donation, and local business that chooses to support Tasch Stables helps us continue creating opportunities for our riders AND provide for the horses that make our program possible. 🥰🐴

🎨🐴 BARN MAKEOVER UPDATE! 🐴🎨
Today was another busy day at Tasch Stables! 💙🤍 Kinsley Rus and I spent the day painting the entire front half of the barn, and let me tell you… it is already making such a BIG difference! 😍
We decided to go with a light blue and white look, and I absolutely love how much brighter and cleaner the barn is starting to feel. 🥰 There’s just something about a fresh coat of paint that can make a space feel brand new!
A HUGE thank you to Kinsley for coming out and working alongside me today! 💙 We definitely put in some work, but we also had a lot of fun doing it! 🐴🎨
We’re not finished yet 👀 — there’s still more to come, and we’re excited to keep transforming the barn little by little!
