We are always willing to provide photos of our stock and parent stock and are willing to meet you to allow you to

Training starts long before we ever put a saddle or harness on them. ❤️

A few of the foals had front-row seats today while we worked some of the other horses.

We intentionally keep our youngsters in a higher-traffic area of the farm where they get to see and hear all the everyday commotion—horses being ridden and driven, equipment moving around, tractors, dogs, vehicles, people coming and going, and plenty of other “interesting” things.

They get to watch, investigate, and learn that all of this is just part of normal life.

There’s a lot to be said for raising young horses in an environment where exposure happens naturally. Every little experience now helps build a more confident, sensible horse later.

And apparently, horse training makes pretty good entertainment too. 😂🐴

Well… that escalated quickly. 😂

Horses have a way of reminding you that things don’t always go according to plan.

Keep a cool head.
Figure out what went wrong.
Learn from it.
Fix it.
And try again.

Sometimes the little wins are the best ones. 🤎

Lorcan was pretty convinced that hopping up onto the dry edges was a much better option than walking straight through the deeper water. 😂 It took several tries, some patience, and a whole lot of “no sir, we’re going THIS way.”

But eventually it clicked, and he went straight through nice and confidently.

These are the moments I love in training—not forcing it, not expecting perfection the first time, just giving them the opportunity to figure out what you're asking and building confidence along the way.

One little lesson at a time. 🐴

And just like that… our last foal of the season is here 🤍

This lovely filly arrived over the weekend — and she was worth the wait. With her soft blue roan coloring and that beautiful, refined head, she has a quiet presence that’s hard to look away from.

Introducing… Indigo Cadence 💙🎶

Her name felt fitting in more ways than one — Indigo for her rich, cool-toned coloring, and Cadence… the final note that brings everything together.

By Blue (Archer’s Acres Blue on Black — Cedar Creek Cloud Nine × Desert Jewel Sasha White) and out of Gizmo (Kohl’s Double Divine — SD Double Stuff × SD Diva), she brings together a pedigree we’re proud of — blending color, presence, and strong foundational lines.

She may be the last to arrive… but she finished this foal crop in the most fitting way.

This handsome buckskin c**t arrived last night and reminded us that not everything needs to be rushed. Slow to stand, slow to nurse… but steady, thoughtful, and completely unbothered 🐎✨

Introducing… Adagio Gold 🎶☀️

His name couldn’t suit him better — Adagio, meaning slow and measured, paired with his rich golden coloring. He’s already showing us a quiet confidence and an easy, steady nature that we truly appreciate.

By Baylor (Green Sleeves Rocky John Snow — Hermit’s Rockytop of Bandera Gypsy Ranch × Arwen Evenstar) and out of Birdie (SSFR Bird in the Hand — The Real Deal × Raven), he carries a pedigree we’re excited to watch develop.

There’s something special happening out here at Archer’s Acres 🤍
Our first Horse Partnership Workshop was a success in every way.
Not just for the participants… but for the horses too.
We watched people slow down, become present, and start to truly communicate—without words.
And in return, the horses responded with softness, curiosity, and trust.
That kind of connection is hard to explain… but you can feel it when it happens.
