I would like to take a minute and share this post about one of our patients.

There will always be patients in this world that touch your heart and touch your staff’s heart, and this is definitely one of them. We watched a dog come in broken and beaten, and unable to stand and had so many broken bones, it was unbelievable from the hands of an individual.

But defying all odds, she walked again, slowly, wagged her tail, began to smile and turned into the most loving and happy dog you would ever meet who, despite all odds, trust people unconditionally. The day we watched her take our first steps was a day that most of us cried. We cheered when she had a birthday and we celebrated her every day in her little house of a kennel with her pink blankets and all the toys in the world as she stayed with us for a full recovery. She truly is a princess!

I’m so thankful that our crew were a part of her journey and we wish her the best of luck tomorrow as her story faces its final closure! And we hope Maggie continues to live on as a happy smiling dog that we have all grown to love !

Happy National Dog Day!

Bourbon spent the day playing with the kennel crew and getting a pedicure before coming home for some much needed snacks and play time!

Construction update time! No it’s not a Kroger!

Walls are up, outlets going in, porch going in, roof soon!

Little back story about my family. Anytime we build something we write on the studs, words of wisdom, scripture, or something silly. Then it is covered up with Sheetrock to stay with the building for its duration.

After sharing this with the staff, they wanted to join in with the tradition!

Do you remember your why? Why do you do what you do?

Well let me share mine!

When I was a kid, I grew up on a horse farm, riding, breaking and loving every moment. But one day, I had a horse with a bad injury come to us. Through working with the vets I decided that was my path and now all these years later I still love what I do!

Sometimes the days are long and the headaches of the world burden me, but it is nice to be reminded of why I love what I do! Last week I helped welcome a baby into the world, Bee Humble (black filly), and this week welcomed Fitzwilliam Darcy, bay c**t. Thank you to amazing clients who allow me to be reminded of my WHY!
