Bad breath, dropping food, or chewing on one side can all be signs of dental disease, but many pets show no signs at all. During dental procedures, we use digital radiographs to check every tooth from crown to root so nothing gets missed. Ask us at your pet’s next visit whether a dental cleaning is right for them!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, we're thinking of everyone in our Tollgate family who has been affected by breast cancer — whether you're currently in treatment, have beaten it, or have lost someone you love to it.

Early detection saves lives. If you're due for a screening, take this as your reminder to schedule one.

Sending strength and support to all those facing this fight. 💗

Fall has arrived in Thompson's Station, but Tennessee ticks and fleas don't take a fall break! Cooler weather doesn't mean parasite season is over - many pests stay active well into autumn. Make sure your pet's prevention is up to date.

You can order flea and tick prevention (and even set up autoship so you never miss a refill) right through our online pharmacy, powered by Vetcove. Every order is reviewed and approved by our veterinary team, so you know your pet is getting exactly what was prescribed.

Shop now at tah.ourvet.com/pet or give us a call to talk through the best option for your pet.

Rupert, this handsome sphynx, is here to remind you: if your cat isn't spayed or neutered yet, now's a great time to schedule it!

Neutering helps prevent unwanted litters, curbs roaming and marking, and lowers the risk of certain health issues down the road.

Most cats can be neutered starting around 5 to 6 months old. Call us at (615) 241-6300 to schedule your cat's appointment.

Meet Pierre, a senior gentleman who let us know exactly how he felt about his visit!

For procedures like this, we use a self-securing towel wrap to gently and safely hold cats like Pierre still so our team can properly evaluate him. It doesn't stop him from sharing his opinion the whole time, though - we don't blame him one bit!

Pierre was recovering from sedation in this video, which is why he seems a little sleepy. That's completely normal, and our team monitored him closely until he was back to his usual self.

Thank you for being such a good sport, Pierre. We're lucky to have you as a patient.
