Look at all the tiny babies TRACS has rescued during this busy kitten season!

Right now, we are caring for 37 kittens under 10 weeks old—and that’s in addition to all the wonderful mama cats and stray adults we’ve rescued. It’s quite a full house!

While these cuties are still waiting on their spay/neuter surgeries and aren't ready to head to their forever homes just yet, most of them will be available by the end of the month!

𝐻𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝐸𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡!

At the end of April, we welcomed an intake of rescues all the way from Houston, TX. Among them were three sweet but timid lab mix puppies, unsure of their adventure to Montana, but ready to find their forever homes.

One of these sweeties, Jada, caught the eye of her adopter and headed to her forever home at the beginning of May! And thanks to our wonderful community of adopters, her siblings found their homes soon after.

We recently received some great photo updates from her family. Jada—now Muffin—is settling right in and growing so fast! She is already 17 pounds and has become a wonderful addition to the family.

Take a look at Muffin with her new family! When she isn't busy sunbathing in her new backyard, she’s getting hugs from her human brother. 🥰

Thank you to her adopters for choosing to rescue❤️ We are so glad that Muffin found her way into your lives, and we know you have so many adventures ahead of you.

The TRACS rescue pups are heading back to the Missoula PetSmart on Saturday, June 27th. Come by, say hi, and meet our amazing doggos!

Adoption events are the perfect opportunity to meet multiple dogs at once and see who you really connect with.

What to Expect at a PetSmart Adoption Event!

Thinking about adding a rescue dog to your family? If you’re planning to visit us at our next PetSmart adoption event, here is a quick look at how the day goes and how you can prepare to bring home your new best friend! 🐶

The TRACS team arrives early to get all of our rescue dogs set up in their kennels with plenty of fresh water and treats. By 12:00 PM, we are ready to welcome potential adopters! You'll get to walk through, meet all the rescue dogs, and chat with our team about who might be a good fit.

Found a puppy that steals your heart? Here is how the adoption process works at the event:

-Apply in person by filling out an adoption application right there at the event! You can also sp*ed up the process by applying prior to the event on our website: https://www.pet-tracs.com/index.php/en/adoption-application-form.html

-Our adoption team will review your application to ensure that you and the dog are a perfect match!

-Once you’ve found your perfect fit and your application has been approved, you can go home the same day! You’ll complete paperwork, pay the adoption fee, get your pup harnessed up, and head home with your new family member.

At 4:00 PM, the event closes. Any remaining un-adopted TRACS doggos will load up and head back home until the next time!

🚨 FOSTER SPOTLIGHT!

The work we do at TRACS is only possible because of our incredible team of dedicated volunteers, fosters, and staff. We are so grateful to everyone who plays a part in our mission!

Today, we want to send a huge thank you to our wonderful foster and TRACS cat momma, Ellen!

Ellen’s assistance has been vital this kitten season: taking in feral cats, pregnant mommas, and abandoned kittens. Thanks to her, we have rescued 37 kittens under 10 weeks old. Ellen cares for 18 of those babies, feeding, cleaning, and housing them!

Look at how well her fosters are doing! These photos straight from Ellen’s home give you a little glimpse into her chaotic life with 18 kitties. We are so happy to see them thriving and can’t wait to find them their forever homes.

Want to help? Caring for this many kitties takes a whole village! We are in need of: kitten food (wet and dry), p*e pads, cat toys, and kitten formula/supplies.
