Sundae has already fought so hard. Now we need your help making sure her heart is strong enough for the next chapter.
When Sundae came to us, she was very pregnant, critically ill, and in need of hospitalization. From the beginning, we were clear that saving Mama had to come first… even though we desperately hoped her babies would make it too.
And somehow, this incredible girl pulled off a miracle.
Sundae spent three days in the hospital, came home to foster care, and recovered like an absolute champion. Not only did she survive and get stronger, but all FOUR of her babies survived too. They’re now growing up exactly where they belong: safe, warm, loved, and with their mama.
But Sundae’s medical journey isn’t quite over.
When we took her in, we knew she had a significant heart murmur. Once her babies are about 6 weeks old and can safely be away from her for a few hours, Sundae needs to see a veterinary cardiologist and have an echocardiogram.
This isn’t something we can skip. Before Sundae can safely be put under anesthesia to be spayed, we need to understand exactly what is going on with her heart and what precautions she may need.
Her upcoming costs are:
Cardiology consultation: $310
Echocardiogram: $800
Total needed: $1,110
And we have some AMAZING news that could get us almost all the way there.
An incredibly generous supporter Devyn Marie has offered to MATCH every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000.
That means:
$10 becomes $20.
$25 becomes $50.
$50 becomes $100.
$100 becomes $200.
Your donation goes TWICE as far for Sundae.
And there’s another reason we’re so determined to get this girl across the finish line: Sundae already has TWO applications from people hoping to give her a forever home. 🥹
She survived being critically ill while pregnant.
She kept four tiny babies alive.
She raised them safely.
And now her own happily-ever-after is waiting for her.
We just need to make sure her heart is ready for it. ❤️
If you can donate—even $5 or $10—right now is the time, because it will be doubled. If you can’t donate, sharing Sundae’s story helps more than you know.
Let’s get our champion mama to the cardiologist, get her the answers she needs, and get her one step closer to finally being someone’s spoiled, beloved house cat.
