We had the honor of running our long time friend, Rick Graves dogs in the grand. It was a very emotional week without him. He did a great job with these fine animals. Maggie and Dollar both had a great week progressing through the week on all 2’s. Thanks for looking after us this week Pops. We sure hope we made you proud. We miss you like crazy.

We went 4 for 5 this week at the 2026 HRC Spring Grand in Paducah, Kentucky!

Thank you to all the judges, marshals, and the entire committee for your hard work and for making this possible. A special thank you to the owners for trusting us with these fine animals!

GRHRCH(4) MD's Rabbit in a Hat MNH4 earned his 4th grand pass without breaking a sweat. This one is a little extra special to us since we brought him into the world. A big thank you to Chris Powell for trusting us with Magic all of these years!

GRHRCH(4) UH Graves Pineridge Miss Maggie MH QA2 came away with her 4th grand pass like easy money. Rick Graves sure does have some fine dogs! Thank you again, Rick!

HRCH Drawn from the Water MH was successful in achieving his first grand pass! Moses has been a pleasure to work with. Thank you to Matthew Moshier for the chance to get Moses's first pass!

GRHRCH(3) Bayou Riverhills Carolina Smoke MNH pointed out in the fourth series. Gin came up short, but she sure is one of the best. Thank you, Jeff Henderson!

Lastly, thank you to my wife, Robin Pritchett Simmons, for always holding down the fort while I'm gone!

What a great time we had in Texas at the AKC Master National. We had 6 dogs to collect a pewter plate. We had a great set of Judges in Ken Gilbert and Sally Koepke. Our site Marshall’s Jeff Henderson and Keith Maready tried their best to keep us in check. Our core group, mostly from Alabama showed the new comers from North Carolina how to keep a site moving efficiently. Special thanks to all the owners for trusting in us with their fine animals. Last but not least a special thank you to my wife Robin for holding down the fort while I was gone.
