I don’t believe in shaving down the double coated beauties! 🥰 I work hard (probably tooo hard) to keep their natural look unless situations are different (obviously) but this is the importance of keeping your double coated dogs on a normal rotation to better their health and help keep them in tip top shape!a

Hi there! It’s me Crystal Yoder. Owner of Pawfection Salon & Spa! The rumors are true I am in fact moved back to Oklahoma but will running my business from Thomas, Ok now instead of Hydro, Ok!

I am excited to be back and giving sPAW Days for all the local pups! Excited to do what I love again feels like it’s been forever.

I want to say thank you to those who have reached out and gotten their pups in for a sPAW Day already! It’s a true honor to be trusted by so many with their babies!

I am now offering DOG TAXI services. Any one in Thomas would be free and anyone outside of Thomas would be charged accordingly!

I will also be adding DOG BOARDING services this year which I’m super excited about! Details coming soon!

Im happy to serve the Thomas area!
That includes Hydro, Weatherford, Clinton, Watonga, Leedey, Fay, Custer City and any other area who wants to commute!

Many of you know I am moving to Texas. Last day of grooming is Friday July 11. If anyone wants last minute grooming or quick bath and tidy in before I leave please let me know.

Groomers Tip this week:
I have had quite a few shave downs this week going into cooler weather. Be mindful of the DEW that falls in the morning… that’s what’s getting your precious pups matted. As they go out to potty, most get soaked especially the feet and legs and depending on the dog their chest and belly’s. They come back inside then lay down on that wet hair all day every day… then you go see the groomer 4-8 weeks later and discover your pup needs a shaving because you aren’t brushing when that hair dries. With the colder temps coming that’s not ideal for a groomer but unfortunately that’s the only solution.

SO. Remember to brush through your dogs when their hair gets dry after coming in from morning potty sesh.

It’s a sad week this week for this groomer but happy to give any help I can to help prevent a shave down for someone’s pup!
