Not everyone gets to see the adult stage of the dubia roach.

The males and females are easy to tell apart as the males will have wings (pretty much non functioning-thank goodness!) and the females are more round and shiny.

If you like pet bugs they make great pets.

If you need access to tiny feeders their babies are born tiny, no egg sacs. And they do not eat their children.

Best part about them besides being a healthy nutritious feeder for your lizard… they cannot infest our homes in this part of the country because the air is too dry as they are a tropical roach. Florida on the other hand?? They’re illegal there. 😜

We have a couple of handsome older fellas looking for their retirement home. They were surrendered to Snake Discovery’s amazing rescue are now healthy enough for a new home. 💕
