An out of state resident called a friend and told her she was on the Chacahoula exit road on a long stretch and saw a BLACK CAT WEARING A RED COLLAR, some sick POS dropped this cat off... and what a horrible place to do so on this long road with marsh etc being out of state she didn't give much detail we told her to make a post and tag with as much info as possible! if anyone is missing a black cat with a red collar this is the information

sources say the dog came from Terrebonne Parish!A woman admitted "the dog had been following her in terrebonne parish" well we know she did not walk on foot to the area it's safe to say this poor dog was dumped. sadly nobody was able to bring him or her home, please share‼️‼️

why do we care? the shelter has two that look like Bombays or mixes. what's even better? zero adoption fee the employee mentioned they could be great barn cats or outdoor! Looking for a rescue to take this very sweet and deserving puppy who needs a clean bill of health a foster home before his permanent home. if any organizations are interested please get in touch. He was found abandoned and severely malnourished on East 2nd Street for anyone who missed original post. Local residents have said they seen him for weeks wandering around lost looking for food. He was found earlier this evening. As you can see in the photo he is excellent and calm natured around children. He really wants his own family please share 🩷
