Hi everyone, meet Digby! 🐾

Digby is a sweet senior pup who is almost completely deaf, but that does not stop him from doing his absolute best. His owners would like a little more help with his basic manners, so we have been working on stay, recall, and clear hand signals for each command. He already knows sit and is doing absolutely amazing especially considering this was only our second session!

Digby is calm, loving, and such a fast learner. He is proof that age does not determine a dog’s ability to learn. With love, patience, consistency, and teamwork, senior dogs are capable of accomplishing so much.

Training a dog who is nearly deaf requires clear and consistent communication. His owners are doing an incredible job learning the correct hand signals, rewarding him when he makes the right choice, and making sure everyone communicates with him in the same way. I love how much they adore Digby and how willing they are to participate in every part of his training.

We are currently using positive reinforcement and visual cues while working on his recall, and Digby is responding beautifully. A vibration only collar may eventually be considered as an additional communication tool, especially for recall from a distance. It would never be used to frighten or punish him only as a gentle way to get his attention when he cannot hear us. At the moment, he is doing so well that we may not even need it!

I am so excited for Digby’s training journey, and I cannot wait to show everyone how much progress he continues to make. I am already so proud of Digby and his wonderful parents! ❤️

🎉 Congratulations, Polly! 🎉

Polly has officially completed our Complete Basic Training Program, and I could not be more proud of how far she has come!

When we first started, Polly needed to be crated during the day and struggled with destructive behaviors, including chewing on walls. Now, she can safely enjoy more freedom around the house, has improved tremendously with her house manners, and has officially mastered all of her basic commands and obedience skills!

Polly is now moving on to the next level: off leash training! I included a little preview of her off leash work in this post, and she is already doing absolutely amazing.

I am so proud of Polly and her dedicated parents. They have worked incredibly hard, stayed consistent, and done an amazing job supporting her throughout this entire journey. Polly has truly been such a joy to work with!

I am so excited for this next chapter with her, and I cannot wait to see just how far she goes.

Hi, everybody meet Bella! 🐾

Bella is such a precious and sweet girl. Her owners wanted to help build her confidence because she can be a little timid and nervous around new people, objects, and situations.

She was already very well behaved and knew all of her basic commands before we started. She learned “place” so quickly, and I’m incredibly proud of how well she has been doing!

We are currently on session five out of eight, and Bella’s confidence has grown so much since beginning training. Her parents are very happy with her progress. They recently had a maintenance worker come into their home, and Bella did amazing she didn’t bark at him like she normally would!

I’m so proud of this sweet girl and all the progress she has made. I just wanted to properly introduce Bella and share how wonderfully she is doing! 🤍🐶

🐾 Hi everyone! Meet Zoey & Hobie! 🐾

These two cuties are the sweetest, and I already love working with them!

Hobie’s owners would like him to become more reliable with his recall, while Zoey will be working on building better manners and strengthening her basic obedience commands.

I’m so excited to watch these two progress and absolutely nail their training! They both have such wonderful personalities and are an absolute joy to work with.

One thing I always like to remind people is that your dog is never too old to learn! ❤️ Zoey and Hobie are senior dogs, and with a little extra patience, consistency, and time, they can learn just as well as any younger dog.

I can’t wait to share their journey with all of you! 🐶🐾💙

🎓 Graduation Day for Soren! 🎓

Soren has officially completed his Basic Obedience Program with Milo’s Mobile Dog Training! 🐾

From the moment I met Soren, he was an absolute joy to work with. He was already a wonderful dog, but watching him grow in confidence, focus, and obedience throughout his training has been amazing.

His parents were dedicated, consistent, and committed every step of the way. Together, we worked as a team to help Soren reach his full potential, and their hard work truly paid off. Every session showed just how much effort they were putting in at home.

As bittersweet as it is to see him graduate, I couldn’t be more proud of Soren and his family. Thank you for trusting Milo’s Mobile Dog Training to be a part of this journey.

Congratulations, Soren! I’m going to miss you, buddy. ❤️🐾

🐾 Hi everyone, this is Polly and her moms! 🐾

Polly recently completed one of her training outings, and she did absolutely amazing! On her first outing, she was a little timid, which is completely normal in a new environment, but she worked through it beautifully.

By her next outing, her moms were able to join us, and Polly showed off all of her hard work. She held her sit,stays, stayed in place while we walked away, and did a wonderful job focusing despite the distractions around her.

I am so proud of Polly and her moms. Their dedication, consistency, and hard work have led to tremendous progress, and it has been amazing to watch her confidence continue to grow.

Hi everyone, meet Cosmo! 🐾 He is an adorable Golden Retriever puppy who is incredibly friendly, outgoing, and very smart.

We had our first session on Monday, and he was absolutely amazing. Cosmo was focused, eager to learn, and gave me his full attention throughout the session. He did an excellent job learning place, stay, and even started working on leave it. He quickly showed his parents just how intelligent and capable he is!

I’m excited to see where these next few weeks take us and to watch Cosmo continue to grow and progress. He has already shown so much potential, and I can tell he is going to become a very well mannered and confident pup.

Hi everyone!!!! Meet Cooper, an adorable and rambunctious Golden Retriever! 🐾💙

Cooper is funny, sassy, full of personality, and definitely a people person. His favorite person in the whole world is his dad! 😊

The three main goals Cooper’s dad would like to focus on are place, recall, and calm socialization. Cooper is already doing amazing and is catching on to place very quickly, and his recall isn’t far behind!

I’m excited to watch and help Cooper grow over the next few weeks as he develops into a well mannered, confident pup. We will be working on proper socialization with people and other animals, strengthening his recall, building impulse control, and teaching many other commands to help him become a calm, confident, and safe dog.

As always, a trained dog is a confident dog, and a confident dog is a safe dog! 🐕✨

Hi everyone, meet Bane! 🐾

Bane is a 5½ month old Rottweiler puppy who is incredibly smart, a little stubborn, and full of personality which is pretty typical for a Rottweiler! 😊

His family’s goals are to help him become a more well mannered companion by working on things like not jumping, leaving items on the floor and counters alone, off leash walking, and building better overall manners and impulse control.

We’ve only had two sessions together, and he has already made great progress. He caught on to place training extremely quickly and is proving just how intelligent he is. Bane definitely has a personality that stands out, and he keeps us laughing!

Our goal is to help him become a well rounded, reliable, and well mannered dog. He already knows some basic commands, so now we’re focusing on adding structure, consistency, and reliability to those behaviors. With time, patience, and teamwork, I know we can get there.

I’m excited to see the progress Bane and his family make over the next few weeks! 🐶💙

Hi everyone! Meet Scout! 🐶💖

This princess is a 4 month old cutie full of curiosity, joy, and ENERGY! She is absolutely the sweetest, loves treats, and is incredibly smart. She picks things up so quickly!

In just 4 sessions, Scout has already learned what Place, Leave It, Sit, and Down mean. We still have plenty of time together to continue building her skills, increasing reliability, and introducing even more commands.

Her paw-rents are incredibly dedicated, consistent, and truly show how much they care about her success by staying involved in her training and practicing at home. That consistency is what helps puppies like Scout thrive!

I’m so excited to watch Scout continue to grow and develop into a well mannered, confident companion. I can’t wait to see all the progress she makes over the next several weeks! ❤️🐾
