What an incredible Sunday at Virginia Equine Imaging! 🍀

We were thrilled to host the Irish Draught and Irish Draught Sport Horse Clinic, bringing together horse lovers, riders, breeders, and enthusiasts for a fantastic day of education and horsemanship.

Guests enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the clinic led by Dr. Allen, followed by an impressive CT demonstration from Dr. Caldwell showcasing the advanced imaging technology helping keep our equine athletes at their best.

The day also featured an outstanding In Hand and Under Saddle Show Clinic led by IDHSGB Certified Judges Sarah Bright-Phillips and Tony Phillips, who shared invaluable insight, expertise, and encouragement with participants and spectators alike.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make the day such a success. We loved welcoming the Irish Draught community to Virginia Equine Imaging and look forward to future events together! 🇮🇪✨

We’re proud to collaborate with our incredible partners at Blue Ridge Wildlife Center in providing advanced imaging for patients of all shapes and sizes!

Recently, we had the unique opportunity to perform a CT scan for Freddy Cooter, their red-bellied cooter turtle ambassador 🐢. Cases like Freddy’s highlight how cutting-edge diagnostic tools can support not only equine athletes, but also the amazing wildlife ambassadors who help educate and inspire our community.

A big thank you to the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center team for trusting us to be part of Freddy’s care—we love being able to extend our services beyond horses and contribute to the health and wellbeing of such special animals.

Virginia Equine Imaging is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team specializing in equine sports medicine and advanced diagnostic imaging.
Our practice focuses on helping equine athletes perform at their best through precise diagnostics and collaborative care. Technicians in our practice work alongside experienced veterinarians using advanced imaging technologies—including digital radiography, ultrasound, nuclear scintigraphy, MRI, and standing CT—to diagnose and manage lameness and performance issues in horses across multiple disciplines.
