Meet two of our CGHS's longterm fostered dogs! These guys do not get as much attention as they aren't located at the shelter and have instead been spending time learning house manners and tackling potty training!

Dogs who have been fostered longterm usually have the easiest time adjusting to a new home as they don't have to struggle with the decompression time of coming from an overstimulating environment!

The repeat fires near our beloved shelter are extremely concerning. HUGE shout out to all the firefighters for their fast response to this one 🐾❤️👨‍🚒🚒

There is an active brush fire on River Rd in The Dalles. Please stay out of the area so that the fire units on scene can safely work this fire.

Dezy came to us emaciated, covered in ticks, and absolutely terrified of everything... now she's a vibrant, goofy gal! She feels most comfortable with her dog friends but is slowly learning what it's like to be a real dog! 🐶
