After more than 17 hours, jurors deciding Lindsay Clancy’s fate told the judge they could not reach a unanimous verdict — but they were sent back to continue deliberations. 😰

Disturbing notes recovered from Lindsay Clancy’s phone offer a glimpse into her worsening mental health before the deaths of her three children. 💔

One note, edited just one day before the killings, began: “Medication stole my motherhood and my life.” Clancy described struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression, severe insomnia and the effects of multiple medications.

🧠 In other entries, she wrote about feeling disconnected from her youngest child, Callan, and desperately wanting to feel happy again. She also described becoming increasingly overwhelmed and paranoid.

⚠️ Her phone contained searches about psychosis, hallucinations, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and su***de. Prosecutors also highlighted a search made just four days before the killings: “Can you treat a sociopath?”

The defense argues the notes show a mother experiencing a devastating psychiatric breakdown. Prosecutors, however, say the evidence does not prove she was psychotic when she killed her children.
