We take monthly boarders, as well as short stays as a horse hotel/layover barn. Our trainers start green c**ts and work on problem behaviors in horses. We start with ground work with all horses. We use natural horsemanship principles to build respect in horses.

We will have a few training and boarding spots available in September. Also starting in September, we will be offering 2 Week Tuneups for horses that we have previously worked with. We still offer in person lessons but they are only available on Saturdays. You can also take advantage of our virtual lessons any day of the week except for Sundays. When the weather starts to cool off, we will start scheduling 2 day clinics and Mini Clinics at our facility. The Mini Clinics will occur in the evenings for an unlimited number of horses. The price will be very low for the Mini Clinics and we will concentrate on one issue the owner is having with the horse. The goal of the Mini Clinics is to give the owner a road map to fixing the issue. Many times when you fix one issue, other issues that are occurring seem to disappear or get better. We will also have some snacks and drinks available after the Mini Clinics so we can just hang out and get to know each other. Jazzy is a 4-year-old quarter horse that was sent to Munday Morning Acres to be started. She was an easy start due to her confident, quick-learning personality. She was able to move from the basics to learning some neck reigning. Now that she has gone home, she and her owners are excitedly working towards running barrels together.

Working smarter not harder. We will give a free 1 hour lesson (at Munday Morning Acres) to the first person who can guess which horse in the round pen is a stud.

Scooter is a 3-year-old gaited gelding from Alabama that was a failed racing horse and then rescued from a kill pen. Over his 3 months with Munday Morning Acres, he showed how quickly a young horse could learn to be soft and truly enjoyable to ride, earning himself the nickname “The Unicorn Horse.” He conquered our obstacle course, riding in the arena, and gaiting through the pasture.

Now that Scooter is back with his owner, they’ll be hitting the trails.

I somehow drew the short straw this morning. Starlia is in the round pen working with Hank, Betsey is in the arena ridding Fire, Taylor is riding Rowdy in the pasture and I am riding a tractor. That doesn’t seem fair.
