Sundays health and wellness tip. Play time is so important for cats of all ages. My beloved Annie here at 11 now and still ever day has to have some play time. To keep health weight on your Maine C**n give them toys to play with. It keeps mind and body in shape. Springs, balls, toy mice and yes catnip on toys is just fine for them. Playing with wand toys are great as well. I love lazor lights as long as it does not get to crazy. Like letting them run into walls chasing the light.
Cats learn fast to play fetch and it a great way to interact with you kitty.

Special note though: No part of your body should ever be used as a toy !!! Fingers and toes are not toys!! Might be cute for a 3 pound kitten to play and biting your toes or fingers. A 20 pound grown cat not so cute 😹. Hand are for giving pets and love, toys are for attacking.
What is your cats favorite toy or game to play. ?

Sunday Health tips. Fall is finally here so time to think about bringing plants inside. Time to start decorating for the holidays. This is also exciting for your cat. New things and smells inside to teast and explore. This can also be a dangerous time as so many plants are toxic to cats. Even potting soil can have chemicals in it as fertilizer that can make a cat sick. Some plants can even cause death!! I recommend before bringing any live plant into your home you check first to be sure it’s safe. This does include flower arrangements, as lilies for one are highly toxic to cats. You can always google it if it is safe to have around cats. I have posted some for you , but still check first. Let’s all have a safe time and enjoy the beautiful fall ahead of us. ♥️😻♥️

Just a side note. In Maine C***s there are reds, red/silver, buffs and creams. Solid reds and red tabby’s. Orange and gingers are not a recognized color. 🤷‍♀️

It’s confirmed, the beautiful Eva and Stetson have kittens coming soon. Going to be stunning fur babies. 🎉😻🎉
