We as a society need to make our dogs do uncomfortable things more often.

Teaching them to overcome occasional stressors (like stepping on this dog cot) helps build confidence, trust, and resiliency. Notice when he realized he could do it, it was no big deal and he stopped refusing? That’s him learning how to overcome that obstacle!

When dogs refuse to do something, look at it as a training opportunity and think “how can I show them that they CAN do this?”
