This weekend was wow... 💚💜. We camped at our friends place for our barn hunt trial and we had so very much fun like we usually do. We got frost Sunday morning but we were warm and cozy with my down sleeping bag.

Everest finished up his RATOX title and earned another HIC.

Phoenix oh that little spit fire of mine 🥺. She not only earned two more Master Q's this weekend but also both with HIC! One was another 5 rat run and her second was a 3 rat run both 3:34 😵‍💫 speed Queen. My only goal this year was to wrap up her Senior title but now we are sitting at just one more Q needed for RATM, we have both judges now too. So so very proud of my little ratting machine.

Another therapy visit tonight 💚. The nurses must share with each other about him because he was flocked with them towards the end of our visit being fawned over. He loves the attention and just eats it up.

Apparently Everest is in the top 50 for Fast CAT after just three days of running. He's 39. Then Nixie who has only ran two days is 68. We had one more maybe event with one of our favorite clubs to run at this year in a few weeks.

Well 😵‍💫 busy busy day so far! Gave him a bath before our therapy dog visit, always love a clean dog to show off. We were stepping in for another team so it was our first time there. Short and sweet visit at that one. Then the other handler mostly jokingly asked if I'd come to the college afterwards and I shocked her by saying yes. Well she left out that it was an event... But he's literally the best boy ever so 💚. Kids bowling with plastic pins, bouncing balls right in front of us, running around, very loud and echo-y in there, highly stimulating environment. He didn't give a flying fluff he just laid down or rubbed up on the students making them smile like we are there to do. Met just over 50 people today. That'll do Ev that'll do 💚💚

They are truly such a fantastic breed. So in tune with me. Our eldest kitty suffered a stroke on Monday and tragically passed away this morning. They haven't left my side since we got home making sure I have a shadow wherever I go 💜 love you little babies. Hug your pets close 🫂

Mind blown doesn't describe this weekend but it's a start. I was really just hoping for Nix to snag her last Senior Q. Well we did that and then some! Everest hunted so amazingly for me this weekend I'm so proud of what we are trending towards as a team.

Everest🏔️🌲: In total snagged 3 more Rat Open Q's and will now be 8/10 towards his RATOX. Two of these Q's were HIC! He is so very close in Master and it's really just me learning our hunting style yet as it continues to evolve and blossom into such a beautiful partnership. He cracks me up, trial 1 Master run today we were walking past the tunnel entrance and he just decided he needed to get that out of the way for us didn't ask him just thought he'd help mom out and I did a little twirl looking for him before realizing he put himself through 🤣. Love him to bits and pieces he's such an incredible dog.

Nix 🐦‍🔥: She finished off her Senior title on Friday trial 1 with another HIC! Moved her up to Master for Saturday. Saturday she absolutely smashed her first official time in the Master ring with a stunning 5 rat run!!!! Then today trial 2 she sent my heart to the moon earning another beautiful 4 rat run with (wait for it!!!) a HIC!!!!!! She has come so far in ratting I'm so damn proud of her and us as a team. My sweet little baby girl 🐦‍🔥.

So grateful for all of my friends at 4 Paws Adrift for getting us into the sport and helping me become the teammate I need to be for my poodles love you girlies 💜

I'll get better pictures at the end of the weekend with the cool backdrop Erica set up. Our two Lessons with our friend Shaylyn really proved fruitful today!

Everest earned another Open B Q and a HIC (High In Class). He hunted soooo well in Master I'm much more confident in us as a team. This spring he was still nailing litter really hard like full on mauling the tube and we just hadn't had enough practice in discrimination to curb it at the time. Our last practice he left them all alone. Today he left every single litter tube alone AND he went back to his rat spots to check and make sure the scent was actually different. My little man and I are going to do so many more incredible things 💚.

I was really just hoping my sweet peanut and I could just snag her last Q in Senior. Well she did AND she got a HIC too!!! So special to me to earn her first and last Q with HIC. She was so happy and bouncing around today. Love being her teammate 💜.
