And Pablo would REALLY like to know WHY nobody wants to adopt him?! 🤷🏼‍♀️

🐾 Is it because he’s ridiculously HANDSOME?

🐱 Is it because he gets along with CATS?

👑 Is it because he wants to be the PRINCE of his castle and soak up ALL the attention?

❤️ Is it because he’s ridiculously affectionate?

Seriously, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE?! 😂

Because I’m seeing a whole lot of AMAZING qualities and absolutely ZERO reasons why this boy is still waiting!

Pablo is 6 years old, 68 pounds of LOVE, and absolutely adores every human he meets! He’s a strong boy who would do best with someone comfortable handling his strength, but he’s also incredibly easygoing, affectionate, and perfectly happy lounging around with his favorite humans. ❤️

He would prefer to be your one and only dog, because let’s face it, ROYALTY DOESN’T LIKE SHARING THE THRONE! 👑

Pablo’s wonderful fosters are going away for a week, and the LAST thing we want is for this sweet boy to return to the shelter! 💔

Thankfully, our amazing partner Nicole at K9 Solutions has welcomed Pablo before and is happy to have him back! Not only will he be somewhere safe with someone he knows, but Nicole will also be working on his leash manners and other training skills! Talk about a WIN-WIN! 🙌🐾

For those who don’t know Pablo’s story, he was surrendered by his owner on September 24, 2024, and has been part of Life with Reef’s Operation Homeward Bound since January 2025.

TWO YEARS without a permanent family to call his own. 💔

Today you get your freedom ride 💙🚙
We spent time with you once and thats all it took to know how special you are. We said to you “we will get you out of here” . Its crazy to us how no one saw what we did, or maybe they did see yet No-one got you like so many of the others that wait day in and day out to be chosen. We picked you… we picked you to sponsor and be in Life with Reef’s Operation Homeward Bound. After months of networking without one application you were given a deadline… my heart broke into a million pieces that day. We needed to go harder for you and bring in our army. A huge part of our army is not only you our supporters , its our partners Mable's Mission Rescue They never say no to us when we need a dog saved thats in our program. 🩷💙
We also could not have done ANY of this without this amazing family thats been watching Coffee Beans 🫘 story for months… yesterday they said its time… we need to help save him bc no-one else is stepping up. Today CB will be in a loving home, he will be in AC, he will have all the toys 🧸, quiet and relaxing 😎 time he needs and deserves. He will begin his Heartworm treatment in the weeks to come (thank you to Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control for sponsoring that) . He will never be neglected or unloved EVER AGAIN!!

We have news 🗞️!!
After 272 days patiently waiting for someone to choose him, we are jumping over the moon 🌙 happy to announce Gizmo is officially adopted!! 💙✨🙏🏻
Gizmo was selected to be a part of Life with Reef’s Operation Homeward Bound because he was one of the longest residents at Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control and bc quite frankly, we fell head over heels for him!
We knew if we could show you Gizmo the way we do and offer our hands-on support we could get him the loving home he deserves!
So many of these dogs struggle with the shelter environment, and it can carry on into their new home and that’s why it’s so very important to have patience and empathy for a new dog be becoming part of their family. Gizmo‘s first Foster could not provide him with enough time, exercise, and patience Giz needed to adjust. So we decided it was not a good match and unfortunately he had to go back to the shelter, but we did not give up and we found another home with a family who had just what he needed!! A family that saw what we saw… A sweet, loving adorable guy that needed some TLC. He hit the jackpot with an amazing family that will do whatever it takes to help Gizmo through his separation anxiety and 🚽 potty training. We have been there daily to help educate, support and accommodate all their needs together as one unit! Because Gizmo’s family doesn’t stop with the people that just adopted him … it literally takes a village and we arent going any where!

547 days … that’s how long Pablo has been waiting to be adopted.
We pulled Pablo into our program January 10, 1925. Did we think he would still be in Foster today and not be in a home of his very own. He’s had a couple of meat and greets, and he actually went to a potential Foster To Adopt a couple of months ago only to be failed yet again by humans. 🥺
Pablo is the most affectionate friendly dog you could ever meet. But just like humans he is not perfect and why should he be? There is no such thing as perfection. If his flaws are that he loves too hard and always wants to be with his person. I wish everybody could be so flawed.
He is crate trained, house broken, lives with 🐱 at his foster parents, loves to play with toys, is a big couch potato, loves walks .
Once adopted into a COMMITTED home we will sponsor three training sessions with one of our partner trainers to help set you up for success!

Life With Reef’s Operation Homeward Bound selected Coffee Bean & Hogan to be featured in the Friends of Jupiter Beach August newsletter — because these two amazing PBCACC dogs have been way too overlooked, and it’s time to get them seen, loved, and adopted into the homes they deserve. 💙

Max was in our program being networked for so so long without any serious interest🫠 CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT!???
Our shelter rescue partners saw what a perfect boy he was and said Yes lets take him up north to their rescue!
Well it didnt take very long and now he has a family of his own 💙

Reunited and it feels so good 🎶🎼🎵 Crixus!!!!!!
One of our most memorable dogs on our Life with Reef’s Operation Homeward Bound program! Over a year in our program and waiting for a home!
He is living his best life now with THE BEST FAMILY!! He is a joy and a complete blessing to them and his fur sibling. Crix has even been a foster brother to over 9 dogs so far,,, talk about paying it forward 🩷🩷🩷👏🏻👏🏻 I am so incredibly proud of him seeing him so happy and loved just makes the struggles worth it!
This could not be possible without my team and supporters! My incredible fosters, the business that welcome us, the volunteers that are my ride and dies (Sol 🩷☀️) the shelter Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control for allowing me to do my thing and trust our mission! Our goal isnt jusvto get them out. Our goal is to get them into loving homes, homes that treat their dogs as part of the family and nothing less. When you adopt or foster a dog in our program, you are forever family. I met Crixs mom over seven years ago when I adopted Reef. It’s funny how things come full circle. I’m blessed to have this family still in our lives! Crix we love you 🩵

My heart has been on quite the roller coaster 🎢 lately. I refuse to give up, IYKYK!
Today marks 2 weeks since Max returned to the shelter 😩💔

Let me break down what this looks like.
He was being fostered for 3 months in loving home. 🏠 He had love, cuddles, a comfy couch to lay on, yummy 😋 quality food the foster fed him that cleared up his skin condition from the harsh elements of the shelter along with stress and chicken allergy. He had shoes for walking bc they didnt want him to burn his toe beans 🥺, he had toys 🧸, he had air conditioning… he had a life!!!
That is all taken away from him now 💔
He is only 1 yrs and 7 mnths old. He had had a ruff life and its not fair! Hes a good boy and anyone would be so lucky to have them in their family.

Max is part of my Life with Reef’s Operation Homeward Bound program!

When you foster we supply everything he needs!
🤙🏻Food, medical, constant support, enrichment, etc .

When adopted we also sponsor 3 training sessions with one of our partners!

Seeing Max struggle yesterday was gut wrenching 💔 he is soooooo stressed out and so very confused why he is back at the shelter all alone . His skin is becoming an issue again and he is swimming in his own drool from stress panting. He needs out!!! We fear he will get a deadline, I am trying as hard as I can but I need your support, your shares, your comments …Max needs you!
