Lottie the Queen loves being warm and dry, in her custom-built “barndominium”. All of the ponies are bored -and snacking-until the weather clears up and the ground dries some. Our rescued farm pups, Mable and Mylo, are growing like crazy since winning the lucky-puppy lottery!

Cultivating future leaders! Our student, Jane, teams up with our adorable Clover. They worked on some desensitizing with the flag, leading over obstacles and had a terrific grooming session. We love starting youngsters- horses and humans alike.

**Edited to add: Little Clover is owned by Jacque Elliott, my sweetest friend and the best sister in law. **

The grande dames of Deer Run- Noelle, celebrating her 26th birthday today- and Granny Hope, just younger at the ripe old age of 25! These two spunky mares still think they’re feisty young fillies. Could be the regular application of love (and cookies) from their adoring fans. Also- a little bird told us that Rebecca June Steele is turning 26 tomorrow!

We have wonderful news for our boarder, Becca! She just had her first ride on her horse Beauty for the first time in a few years! Ba****ck and in a halter no less! Beauty came to us in November for training in careful groundwork to rebuild confidence after an accident, and today it has paid off! Slow and steady, will always win the race.
We are so unbelievably proud of this team and can’t wait to see their relationship grow!
