June is Adopt a Cat Month! 🩷🐾

Every year, shelters across the country fill with cats and kittens looking for loving homes, especially during “kitten season.” From playful kittens to calm senior cats, there’s a feline friend out there for every family.

Adopting a cat doesn’t just change their life… it changes yours too. 🐱

Did you know millions of cats enter shelters each year? Adopt a Cat Month helps raise awareness about the importance of adoption, fostering, volunteering, and supporting local rescues and shelters. If you’ve been thinking about adding a new furry family member, now is the perfect time to consider adoption.

A few adoption tips:

• Choose a cat that fits your lifestyle
• Give them time to adjust to their new home
• Introduce new pets slowly
• Be patient... love and trust take time

Puppy visitors made this week a little sweeter 🐶

Between the puppy snuggles, tiny paws, wagging tails, and happy kisses, our team has had plenty of reasons to smile this week. We’re pretty sure puppies are the best kind of stress relief and thankfully, we got to enjoy a few adorable visitors throughout the week!

We spent yesterday celebrating Latisha and her soon-to-arrive little mermaid! 🧜🏽‍♀️

The clinic was filled with lots of laughs and so much love for mama and baby. It was such a special day getting to celebrate one of our own and shower Latisha with excitement for this next chapter in her life.

We can’t wait to “sea” all the wonderful memories ahead and meet her precious little mermaid soon! 🐚🍼

From early mornings to late nights, school drop offs to comforting nervous pets... these women somehow do it all with so much love and dedication. We are so thankful for the compassion and strength they bring to our clinic and their families.

Emergencies can happen when we least expect them and our pets depend on us to keep them safe.

Today is a great reminder to make sure your entire family, including your pets, is prepared. Whether it’s severe storms, floods, or other unexpected events, having a plan in place can make all the difference.

A few things to think about:

• Do you have a pet emergency kit ready?
• Are your pet’s ID tags and microchip info up to date?
• Do you have a plan for evacuation that includes your pets?

Disasters don’t just impact people, our pets rely on us completely for their safety. Taking a little time now to prepare can help prevent heartbreaking situations later.
