Our Wagging Tails family has a heavy heart today, and we want to share something important with our community. 🐾
Many of you know Isabel — she has been the warm, familiar face of our salon for nearly 27 years. She has groomed your dogs, your parents' dogs, and maybe even your grandparents' dogs. She remembers names, comforts nervous pups, and shows up every single day with a level of care you just don't see very often.
This past week, Isabel was back in the hospital. She is facing ongoing health challenges that are causing her a lot of pain, and surgery is likely the next step — with a recovery expected to take months. Medical bills are mounting, and the financial weight of it all is real.
If you know Isabel, you know the hardest part for her isn't the pain — it's not being at work. Taking care of pets isn't just her job. It's who she is.
Her coworker and dear friend Heidi has set up a GoFundMe to help Isabel cover her medical expenses and give her the peace of mind to heal fully — without having to worry about rushing back before she's ready.
Isabel has spent 27 years showing up for this community. Now it's our turn to show up for her. ❤️
