8 dogs together in one campsite and we had nothing but fun.

This is what I love about training. It’s not just teaching dogs commands, but teaching them how to exist confidently in the real world.

New environments, new distractions, other dogs, a different routine. And still being able to listen, settle, explore, and have fun. This is what it’s all about, having fun with your dog and feeling confident while doing it!

These are the skills that make life with your dog easier and more freeing.

If your dog needs more than just “sit” and “stay,” I’d love to help.

📩 send me a message and let’s talk about what your dog needs.

We are taking off to the White Mountains again this weekend! We will be leaving tomorrow and I will not have signal. I will be back to answering calls/messages on Tuesday morning.

You can’t control the environment, but you can prepare your dog for it. Here’s a raw clip from the river.

While at the river, an off-leash puppy came running up to Wren and Ivy. We had no idea where the owner was and the puppy stayed with us for quite a while before he finally appeared.

Both Wren and Ivy came to me for reactivity. They handled an unexpected situation calmly because they had the skills and guidance to make good choices. I’ve actually used Ivy for some lessons, she’s a big help now.

Real-life training is about preparing your dog for the moments you can’t plan for. Contact me for more information.

Camping Trip & Training Adventure!

I’ll be heading to Greer with Tempo, Kyra, and Wren from Monday(July 27) through Thursday(July 30) for a few days of camping, hiking, and getting away from the busy city for a reset.

During this time, I’ll have limited cell service, so responses to calls, texts, emails, and social media messages may be slower than usual. I’ll return all messages as soon as I’m back in service.

If I have service, I’ll be sharing photos and videos in my stories, so keep an eye out for our adventures!

I hope this encourages you to get out in nature with your dog too!

Kyra. đź©·

Kyra is just over a year old and is currently in my behavior modification program after being referred to me by Rachel Rachael | Phoenix Dog Trainer . I have a lot of respect for trainers who know when a dog would benefit from a different level of training and put the dog’s needs first.

When her owners reached out, life had become really limiting. Kyra was extremely reactive to both people and dogs, struggled with separation anxiety, and lacked confidence. Having friends or family over was stressful, walks felt overwhelming, traveling wasn’t enjoyable, and leaving her with someone else wasn’t an option.

Their goal wasn’t for Kyra to love everyone. They just wanted to be able to enjoy life with her without fear and constant management.

She’s just over 3 weeks into her journey, I’m excited to share her progress. Keep an eye out for updates.

I’m definitely behind posting on social media and I will be posting an intro on both girls and the reason why they are here for training with some clips from before and after. Until then, enjoy this clip showing you an example of what a day of training looks like here.

Will your dog recall off a ball at the beach?

Zara did a b&t with me back in Jan 2025 and is here boarding for a few weeks. So she joined us on our day trip to California.
