We had an AMAZING day showing our ranch riders at the West Coast Ranch Horse show today! I am so proud of Kathie Waterman Thayer and Nikki for placing 10th out of almost 20 riders in the Green Horse Rail class today! I too even got in the pen and got to catch ride Nicole Norvell - Donegan wonderful horse Woody to a 3rd place finish in the Open Rail class!!! So much fun! Thank you Chrissie Hastie, Kari Rubens and Michelle A Shaffer for allowing me to take your "kids" to one of their first show outings to see the sites and get used to Horseshow life!!!

Now it's time to unpack one trailer, and finish packing another as I head to Hamilton Texas tomorrow to hopefully get some reiners qualified for the Run for a Million show later this year! This life sure has me moving and grooving but I feel so blessed with all the opportunities I have in front of me!!!

There is truly no better feeling than when you WIN your very first BUCKLE!!! Congratulations to Alisha and Ze Sweet for taking home the first place prize in the NRCHA Limited Boxing class at the Nevada Reined Cow Horse Association show! These two are bringing home a beautiful buckle, so many great memories and over $300 cold hard cash!!! I couldn't be more proud of this new team!!!

Horse Shows are early mornings, late nights and a lot of hard work...however when you are patient, you get a freshly watered and groomed arena to yourself to prep your horse!!! Excited to be here at Arizona Sun Circuit .The reiners school tomorrow and the first slate of Cowhorse classes start showing!

"Handsome Hank" is in the house!!! This big boy has been the best find for Amber! It's been so much fun helping her grow in her riding and to know she has a faithful steed to take her down miles and miles of trail!!! So happy Joe Kirkwood and Andrea Kirkwood were able to come and visit their old friend yesterday at the barn!

I am so excited to have another one of Jimmy Flores hand crafted pieces of equipment and can't thank him enough for helping me create what I envisioned. I absolutely love it!!!

The dust has settled and results are in from our first Nevada Reined Cow Horse Association show!!!

Kyle and Tinker Lickin Good showed for the first time in the two rein placing 3rd amongst some stiff competitors.

Alisha and Ze Sweet showed in their first NRCHA class in the limited boxing marking a 71.5 on their cow but had a little too much fun in the left turn around. This same team redeemed themselves by placing 2nd in the Never Won a Buckle class and marking a 72 on their cow work!

Eliahna Hope and Bobby finished out our day looking FRESH in their teal/brown color combination as they continue to sharpen their maneuvers in the Green as Grass reining class, bring home the 3rd place spot!
