Remembering the Search Dogs of 9/11

Today, we remember the nearly 10,000 rescue workers and search dogs who responded in the aftermath of September 11, 2001—and the extraordinary courage, dedication, and unconditional love they brought to the search.

These remarkable dogs worked tirelessly alongside their handlers, searching through unimaginable conditions in an effort to find survivors and bring comfort to those waiting for answers.

They searched.
They served.
They comforted.
They never gave up.

At Brewscuits, we are especially grateful for the working dogs and their handlers who showed us the incredible bond between human and K9. Their legacy continues through the search-and-rescue teams working today.

Today, we remember them with gratitude, respect, and a whole lot of love.

We will never forget.
