🐾 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A P**PER SCOOPER! 💩
Doggy Doo Duty is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to take on approximately 1.5–2 days of scooping work per week as an independent contractor.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for extra income, who enjoys working outdoors and doesn’t mind working in various weather conditions.
What we’re looking for:
* Reliable and dependable — showing up when scheduled is a must!
* Available to scoop during the week (Monday–Friday).
* Comfortable working independently without direct supervision.
* Physically capable of walking, bending, squatting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
* Detail-oriented, able to work at a fast pace without sacrificing quality, and takes pride in doing a thorough job.
* Trustworthy and respectful of customers’ homes and properties.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
* Able to work efficiently while maintaining our quality standards.
* Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must be comfortable learning and operating our CRM (customer management system), following its instructions, and adhering to route density to ensure efficient scheduling and service.
*Must be available to work more during end of February-April (Spring Rush)
Scheduling flexibility:
You can choose which days you prefer to scoop! However, we do require those days to be consecutive (for example, Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday) to maintain consistency for our customers. Our customers rely on knowing when to expect us, and keeping a predictable schedule is an important part of providing excellent service.

We are a very small, locally owned business that is continuing to grow, and we take a lot of pride in what we do. * Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, cleaning, or other independent outdoor work.

* Someone who is comfortable using technology and documenting completed work accurately.
This is contract work, not a traditional hourly position, and would be ideal for someone who enjoys independence while being part of a growing local business.
📍 Work is primarily in the Adrian/Tecumseh and surrounding areas.
