One common misconception about purebred Ibizan hounds is that because they’re hounds and can run really fast, they need a ton of exercise every day—or they’ll destroy the house and go crazy. Yes, all dogs need daily exercise, but this breed is content either way: just because they can run fast doesn’t mean they need to do it every minute of the day.

This is Alice. She spends a lot of time outside—we’re lucky to live on a 1,000-acre property where our dogs can run as much as they want—but as you can see, she’s perfectly happy taking an afternoon nap anytime.

P.S. Why she prefers our cat’s bed for naps is a mystery we’re trying to solve 😂
