Update on Nala. This trip was bittersweet as I watched Nala walk to the beach. It was a huge goal to make it here with her after her leg amputation, and it’s also sad as, in the back of my mind, I know it may very well be her last beach trip. As her vet said, “cancer sucks,” and no words could be truer! I cherish every moment I have with her, and we made many good memories on the beach this week. She goes for her third round of chemo on Monday and has one more round after that before starting her targeted therapy. Please continue to keep Nala in your thoughts and prayers.

Update on Nala's condition: her chest X-rays were still clear today, and she has been accepted into the Yale vaccine trial, which may potentially extend her life expectancy. She has completed her second round of chemotherapy and has adapted remarkably well to her new mobility. Please continue to keep my Nala in your prayers, as her recovery is still ongoing.

Nala is a beloved member of the Doggie D’tails family . She is currently facing a challenge after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Tomorrow, a veterinarian will perform a leg amputation procedure, aimed at strengthening her ability to combat the disease and enjoy more precious time with her family. Please keep Nala in your thoughts and prayers.
