Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!!

It can be scary when you have to leave your pet here for the day for an anesthetic procedure. But don’t worry - our technicians are trained in anesthesia, sedative medications, monitoring vitals, sterile scrub techniques, oral care, and more! Our technicians have such big hearts and care so much about your furry friends. The technicians are under direct supervision of our Veterinarians but act as their 3rd and 4th hands. They learn how to prevent and react to emergency situations calmly and with professionalism.
Was there a technician that went above and beyond to help you when admitting or discharging your pet from an anesthetic procedure, we would love to know!

Please note that we will be closed between 12-1PM so all our technicians can enjoy this special week.

Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!!

Whenever we request to take your pet “to the back” it’s usually for lab work. Veterinary Technicians are trained to safely handle pets (kind and aggressive), as well as take radiographs and pull blood with minimal stress to your pet. There is a lot that goes into taking an adequate X-Ray, to pulling a clean sample of blood, and knowing what is required for various tests. We are so proud of our technicians and their proficiency in these skills. We are always learning and continuously trying to improve these skills as well.
Let us know if you had an extremely helpful and positive experience with any of our technicians when here for tests.

Please note that we will be closed between 12-1PM so all our technicians can enjoy this special week.

Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!!

Our veterinary technicians are trained to dispense and administer medications under the supervision of our Veterinarians. It is important to understand what each medication dose, adequate dosing, route of administration, side effects of medications, what medications can/can’t be given together, and more! We want you to be comfortable asking questions about your pet’s medication.

Please note that we will be closed between 12-1PM so all our technicians can enjoy this special week.
