With the rise in scam rehoming and adoption pages, this seems like a good time to post this.

There have been a number of sc@mmers that have gotten on my page. they are trying to lure people to heeler rehoming and adoption pages. The puppies and posts on the page are fake and they will gladly take your money without delivering a puppy. NEVER send money without seeing the puppy in person. Please report to me if you are contacted by a scammer through this page.

How do you tell if the page is a scam?
No location given
You must message them for info.
They won't answer questions on their page
They don't ask you questions to see if you are a good fit, they ask for money
They are advertising many many litters available at one time
You must go through only them to talk about a puppy

The rehoming page I run, Wisconsin cattledogs/heelers for rehoming, has strict requirements to join, including membership questions and agreeing to admin rules
Posters must also follow guidelines for info in posts

I am so grateful to have dogs I can rely on to have my back when the cattle get out.
My cattledog, Luna, moved a group of cattle across the cornfield right to where the gate was broken.
Then she held the cattle off so I could fix the gate.
Love that she can do the job the breed was made to do.

Just wanted to update this page to indicate that I am not breeding Cattle dogs at this time. My females were both spayed last month, due to health complications. It was a difficult decision for me, but it was what was best for my dogs.

And just like that, life changes.
Today, I said goodbye to Foxy, my Red cattledog.

She was one of the best working cattledogs we have owned. She was always fearless and never, I mean never, backed down from a cow. They were gonna move, whether they wanted to or not. When calves got out, I could send her to round them up and she would put them back in, then hold them back until I fixed the fence.
As any true red head, she had a temper and was particular about which dogs she would hang with, but Lately her best bud was our great pyrennes, Kevy. Together, the 3 of us would wait for my grandson, Joel to get off the bus and then play in the shop
As a cattledog, she didn't show signs of being sick until she was really sick. She had been to the vet last Thursday, where they found abdominal masses, high WBC and anemia. We are thinking it was cancer, but hoped it might not be and she would pull through. This morning, she followed me around, and from the look in her eyes, I knew she was done.
Fortunately I found a vet that would come to our farm, so she could be comfortable and be in a familiar place with her family.
