I do all P.O.E.T. rescues and fosters for free.

But sweet Leo is going to need more than a bath and nail trim before he's ready for his forever home.

P.O.E.T. Animal Rescue picked up this sweet baby from Flint today and brought him to me for a much-needed bath. ❤️

Meet Leo!

His breed and exact age are unknown. Based on his teeth, we were told he may be around 2–5 years old, although we suspect he could be on the younger end of that range.

Over the next couple of months, P.O.E.T. will be focused on putting some much-needed weight on him, getting him fully vetted and neutered, and preparing him for his forever home. The good news is that Leo is heartworm negative! 🎉

Leo is understandably shy right now, but he is incredibly sweet. I can’t wait to see his true personality start to come out once he realizes he’s safe, comfortable, and well cared for. ❤️
