These little ones are up and about and getting messy. Sadly we lost one a few weeks ago (I think maybe mama accidentally laid on her in the night), but now the rest they are quite strong and running all over the farm. Unfortunately that means a new set of problems including extreme mess. Mama isn’t cleaning them as well as I would like, so every so often we bring them in for a cuddle and a better clean. It’s getting harder and harder to find them. This morning they were under the 4 wheeler just hanging out. We’ve fought against a lot with these little ones. It’s my first time with a litter of barn kittens and they are very different than pups. We’ve had some skin issues and some seepy eyes, but I’ve tried to keep it all clean and coconut oil fixed the skin. Everyone is very sweet and I hope I’m doing them justice. I’m pretty sure all 3 are boys, but again, this is new to me. Maybe Garfield is a girl? We now call them Garfield, Einstein, and Simba.
