🐾 We’re hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician!

Heekin Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time licensed LVT/RVT to join our growing, independent practice in Taylor Mill.

Here, technicians are encouraged to fully use their skills — from anesthesia and advanced dentistry to diagnostics and patient care — in our modern, 6,500-square-foot facility.

💰 $22–$30/hour
🏥 Independent, privately owned practice
🦷 Advanced dental and surgical equipment
❤️ Health insurance program + generous PTO

🌙 No emergency on-call hours

This handsome 3-year-old domestic shorthair came to HAH after a possible sibling scuffle left him with a bite wound that developed into an abscess.

Dr. Dwertman is treating Binks—and he’s been an absolute champ through it all. Calm, cooperative and very deserving of his gold star patient status! ⭐❤️

Niles is NOT a fan of his latest accessory. 😾

After a little mishap injured his shoulder, Niles was stitched up and healing well—until he started licking his wound. So, unfortunately for Niles…the cone had to come out.

He may be annoyed with us now, but cones can make a big difference in helping pets heal properly. ❤️‍🩹 We’re hoping Niles will be cone-free again soon!

🐾 Meet Coach! One of our newest HAH patient has quite the look—and we’re not quite sure what breeds are behind it!

Coach was recently adopted from a local animal shelter and came in for a checkup with Dr. Butler, who also helped with his sneezing episodes.

Our best guesses? Maybe some Poodle, Wirehaired Terrier, or even Berger Picard in the mix! ❤️ Welcome to HAH, Coach! 🐶
