Today I had the wonderful pleasure of giving Briar and Boomer their pre-vacay spa day!! Anyone who knows me well enough knows I could have sat with these two sweet babies all day! Today, Briar got a deshed scrubby bath, nail dremmeling, a good blow drying and no ear cleaning due to medicine treatmeant for a healing infection. Boomer got a medicated soak and aloe rinse, blow drying, nail dremmeling, a squeaky ear cleaning.

It’s Odie day! Gotta love those big blue eyes! Today, mom asked for a summer short cut. I made it happen! Odie got an odor remover shampoo scrub down, and then a one step silky lather that cleanses and conditions. At the end of the groom he got a light spritzing on his tail with blueberry pie cologne, so yummy!

It’s Rocky day again!! Cool thing about my wonderful big bathing tub is: I can help pups like Rocky! Rocky has some pretty sensitive skin, so he has a special shampoo that he soaks in. My tub has a special drain stopper so I can fill the tub, and Rocky gets a bubble bath!! If his paws are overly irritated I can make a nice soapy special shampoo bubble bath to soothe his skin while he soaks! I just know he felt so much better today!

Today on the schedule was sweet girl Mayple. Another snoozer groom, I think I’m getting it down pretty good! Her mom and I agreed to leave the front of her muzzle lightly neatened as traditional schnauzer muzzles are very forward heavy. Mayple has some thin hair around that area, so some thickening and growing out is needed before I square it off properly without taking it too short. Overall, she’s looking great!

Check this out!! Here’s a glimpse at the drying process with Vader today! He did so so good, and boy was I able to get a deep de-shed done! It was snowing hair!
