Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue is a privately run pig rescue near Pittsburgh PA. We provide a safe home for neglected pigs until they find their forever home.

Happy anniversary to my beloved husband and cofounder of Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue, Zack. We have been together for 14 years and have TWO wedding anniversaries: our ceremony (in 2020 😬) and wedding reception in 2022. We love to find new mini golf spots every year. I, and the rescue, would be nothing without him. -Blue

Reuben will be getting his second surgery today to improve his vision and hearing, plus a much needed neuter. His ears became huge, keloided masses after a dog attack years ago. He was used as a breeder and, after his blindness made him an inconvenience, he passed around homes and eventually posted for free for meat or whatever. Last month, the first surgery removed his massive 4.5lb ear that made him totally blind. We are giving him the better life that he deserves 🩷

Ohio arrived with his two sisters earlier this month. They were strays and he impregnated both girls. Today, he gets a neuter so he can finally rejoin his sisters in a few weeks. Boars are often spastic nut cases as their brain swims in testosterone 24/7, so we look forward to see his personality soon!
