After 4 months of searching, fall throughs and lots of waiting, the boys are finally off to their new home TOGETHER!!! Tommy and Finn are off to Colorado to live with family of ours who actually gave us Ranger. They're gonna have lots of land to run and 2 kids to play with🩵💎

The last few days I've been doing so many posts on my personal page about the "horrors of breeders" and how we "make bank" off our babies and how mistreated a breeders dogs are. Let me let you in on a little secret. Our dogs are pampered and loved and spoiled from the moment they come home till the day they leave this world. The pups are adored before they even arrive and even though we know we have to let them go it breaks our hearts every time. After supplements and pre birth care for mom, whelping supplies, then there's 9 weeks of caring for these little lives, making sure Mom has enough milk, and pups are nursing well. And sometimes due to circumstances we can't control medical intervention is needed whether it's a C-section or a pup has problems and needs extra care. Then deworming and shots for the pups and food for weaning and stuff to send the babies off to their new homes, by the end of the 63+ days pregnancy and 9+ weeks of puppy care we barely break even. Yes not all breeders go to the same lengths and yes there are people who will do less than the bare minimum. But to say every breeder is a horrible person and needs their dogs taken is an ignorant statement. If You've never gone a day in our shoes you have no right to speak on who we are as people or the lengths we will go for our dogs.

The second litter of Hidden Gems Dachshunds has made it. Our Peaky Pups are 8 weeks old. It's been a wild ride to get here. This litter has definitely kept me on my toes. From a dramatic entrance into this world that almost ended in losing Finn due to bleeding from his Umbilical cord, and Ms Polly being so small I'd stay up at night to make sure she was nursing well enough to them running amok about the house. 💙💎 All 3 babies are still 👀🏠

7 weeks in, 1 more to go. It's gone so fast this time around. Seems like only yesterday they made their entrance into this world. They came so far and still have so far to go. 💙💎

5 weeks down, 3 to go I'm not ready 😭 Polly is still a dainty little thing, now the smallest of the bunch. Tommy dwarfs his siblings being 2x their size and Finn, well he's the fearless and definitely has no problem letting his opinions known lol all still 👀🏠💙💎
