Those of you who have been long-time members of the Pet Wize family know that we recommend raw goat’s milk more than nearly any other product for your pet! Well we’d love to take the time to explain why that is:
Goat milk is sometimes referred to as “the universal milk”, because its small fat molecules are easily digested by most mammals—making it an excellent way to introduce more pre- and probiotics to your dog or cat’s diet. The probiotics found in goats milk naturally feed the good bacteria in your pet’s gut, which directly improves the efficiency of their immune system. It also contains large amounts of Vitamin A and C, which are antioxidants that boost immunity. The calcium and phosphorus provided by goat’s milk also improves bone density, as well as reduces the risk of tooth decay!
For pets with arthritis or joint pain, the vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids naturally occurring in goats milk help fight inflammation and can reduce painful symptoms of these issues.
