Here are two other female Taiwan beauties that are not from the Columbus Zoo line. Really like the white on the first third of both of these females. Here’s another species that isn’t know for its variability but there are definitely a lot more phenotypes to this subspecies. I’m excited to have a few different looks in the collection and see what we can improve on.

Here’s a pair of snakes I’m really excited about. These are the wc climacophora I was able to get earlier this year. I’ve never noticed this species coming in before so to be able to get some fresh blood was something I couldn’t pass up.

These are not kunishir island animals, so they don’t have the bright blues and greens you’ll usually see on most Japanese rats in the hobby. One thing about this species I’ve noticed is the variability between individuals. This pair just gives me that much more to work with. They took some time to establish but they are both solid now. Hopefully in the future we will see some F1 animals from this pair.

This is my adult pair of Columbus Zoo Stock Taiwan Beauties. I’m really happy with how these guys are progressing. I also have two more females I’m raising up from this line to add to the group. I feel this is an overlooked subspecies in the beauty snake complex that is fairly variable and has tons of room for selective breeding potential. Not to mention this subspecies is probably one of the better pets in the genus. Most are fairly chill and will be puppy dogs if you work with them. Who has Taiwans and how’s yours temperament?

Not only are the Redfoots growing like weeds, a couple of them are starting to get some marbling. I was wondering if any of these would get marbling since their parents had a ton. It’s not much but it’s more and more everyday.

To continue the beauty snake theme lately, here’s an anery Chinese beauty hanging out here. I’m very curious to see what all can be done with this project and how it works with all the other projects here. I’ve always liked how this one has an almost white sided look to him. What Chinese beauty mutation is your favorite?

So a nice surprise today from one of the grabowski females. Found her coiled around 10 eggs. After not seeing much from the group and not catching any of the signs, this clutch definitely surprised me. Anyway, it’s nice to have another clutch on the ground.
