💔 THIS IS THE REALITY OF ANIMAL RESCUE.
NOTE: NOT OUR PICTURE, JUST EXAMPLE

The reality of people trying to surrender their animals versus people trying to adopt them.
On one side, we have people desperately trying to find somewhere for their animals to go. On the other, we have shelters desperately trying to find homes for the animals already in their care.
And somewhere in the middle are the animals who never asked for any of this. 💔

Shelters are overwhelmed. Kennels are full. Foster homes are stretched thin. The number of animals needing help continues to grow, while the number of available spaces remains limited.

We want to help every animal. We want to say yes to every desperate call. But the heartbreaking truth is that we simply cannot always take them all.
Adoption saves lives. Responsible pet ownership prevents heartbreak. Spaying and neutering prevents unwanted litters.

Behind every surrender request is a situation, and behind every kennel door is a life waiting for a second chance.

Please, if you're considering adding an animal to your family, consider adopting. And if you already have pets, please be part of the solution.
Because the reality is that there are far more animals needing homes than there are homes available.

And that is a heartbreaking reality for everyone who loves them. 🐾💔

Domestic cats will NOT just start hunting! As a matter of fact, even fed wildlife often refuse to hunt once fed. That’s why so many injured wildlife have to be put down or kept as educational animals, because once they’re fed they don’t ever hunt again. Please stop saying cats will just hunt for food.

Support TNR in tampa

$20 Tuesday starts on Monday this week! Clementine needs our help 🍊After 3 months of trapping a couple “last” cats in a colony the homeowners took on on their own, clementine left and returned a few times presumably looking for love. These citizens are so dedicated that they ordered their own drop trap to get this guy! He’ll be going for surgery Tuesday morning and the bill will be due Tuesday at 4pm. Our last entropion was about $500 including neuter & rabies & FVRCP vaccines. These are the type of people we love to help because they’ve already put in so much out of their own pocket to TNR the other cats and have been persistent with helping where they didn’t have to.
