Today we said goodbye to our best boy Logan. He was on pain management for the last 2 years, but declined quickly this last weekend. I cannot thank Dr Twila & the wonderful staff at Sunshine Animal Hospital for helping Logan say goodbye peacefully.
If I've ever sent you a pic of your dog with Logan, I'd love to see it again. Give your pups all my love. -Dawn

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Today is the 10th anniversary of when I took my first client on. For 10 years, I have been loving on your animals pretty much 24/7, 30 days a month. Going forward I am taking days off every month, with some exceptions during the summer. Jason & I also have a big trip planned in 2027, but are leaving after school starts and should be back in time for Labor Day Weekend. I will continue to post my days off as far in advance as possible so that you can plan. Thank you to each and every one of you for trusting me with your furry family members and allowing me to live this dream! I will continue to update the cover photo with any additional days (looking at you February) but as long as it's open I'm home and ready to help!

Summer is half over! If you're thinking of any last minute excursions before school resumes, please book asap as spaces are limited.
As of now, I have 2 spots left for Labor Day weekend.
Finally, Jason & I have finalized our fall travel plans & will be out of town 9/15-19 & 10/19-25. After that we'll be back in action for the rest of the year.

Effective May 1 2026 rates are as follows for NEW* clients:

BOARDING $60 per night
DAYCARE $35 per day
DROP INS (cats/small animals) $20

*Current clients keep their rate as a loyalty perk, as long as you use me once per calendar year. My goal is to continue to offer the concierge services you've been accustomed to (pick up/drop off, etc).

I'm looking forward to an awesome summer. Thank you for supporting me over the last 10 years!

SCHEDULE REMINDERS

* Last day for new dogs to get approved for boarding over the summer is April 30th
* I'm on vacation 5/6-11. I'll be at a rock festival in Daytona, so I'll be able to text, so still send reservations and I'll confirm as I see them.
* Memorial Day Weekend has limited availability left (2 spots left)
* July 4th plans? Reserve ASAP....I have had to turn down last minute requests for the last 3 years, which I hate doing.

Ever wonder how I keep everyone's stuff straight & make sure my husband knows who gets what? We have a stack of lockers in the kitchen that I write on in dry erase marker. And if you send a food container or bag that's too big, if you don't label it, it'll probably come home with a new name label out of painter's tape.
