Someone forgot to tell Kilah this was just a quick blood draw... 😹

Meet Kilah, Dr. Miller's 5-year-old domestic short hair who was absolutely thrilled to visit us last week for her pre-anesthetic blood work. (Don't worry, Patience survived the judgmental stare!)

Pre-anesthetic blood testing is an important step before any procedure requiring anesthesia (in this case, a dental for Kilah). It helps our doctors evaluate how your pet's organs are functioning, identify any underlying concerns that may not be visible during a physical exam, and tailor an anesthetic plan that's as safe as possible for your cat.

A few minutes of blood work can provide valuable information and help ensure a smoother, safer procedure.
