RACE WEEKEND IS HERE!

This weekend is incredibly special to me. Not only am I accomplishing a personal goal of running a World Marathon Major, but I also have the privilege of giving back and supporting an organization whose mission means so much to me, PAWS Chicago.

To everyone who donated on my behalf, THANK YOU! Your generosity and support have made this journey even more meaningful.

To say I'm grateful for the incredible community we've built through Paws on the Ground would be an understatement.

I truly couldn't be more thankful for each of you.

My heart is full, the excitement is REAL, and I cannot wait to step foot over that starting line on Sunday!

26.2 miles, a purpose bigger than myself, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Leash pressure isn’t a cue to pull harder— it’s a cue to yield.

As you can hear (wheezing) and see, Remy’s default is to lean into the collar with as much pressure as possible. Before training, pulling was successful; it got him exactly where he wanted to go. Dogs repeat what works.

Our job is to change that understanding.

Pressure is information— not something to fight against.
