I know how many of my clients want answers…
So here we go..

I was put into a lease in 2022. I asked if my lease could be provided and the answer was, yes. All documented.

I asked if I could start paying the increase when it was due without having the lease and the answer was, yes. All documented.

I was told that the lease would be be provided.
I never received a lease.

I was told by 2 attorneys that you should have forced their hand or just move out.

An HVAC unit would not be replaced because I didn’t have a signed lease AND they didn’t have to.

How do you force a landlord’s hand and how do you walk away from a $75k build out? All the while having a great business.

I have lost 6 dogs in this time that have passed over the rainbow bridge and I didn’t have a chance to groom them or say goodbye.

I have groomed some of my dogs for 10 years that have only known me as their groomer.

We are moving on and it’s been really tough on me, but so many people around me know that I’ll be in a better place.

I was sent my $1000. deposit check. Crazy that they honored that, but wouldn’t provide a lease or fix ongoing problems.

So, I’ll be back. Just give me a little time. I’ll be in the right place at the right time. ❤️-Angie

Here it is! 82 Northeast Avenue in Tallmadge! The support behind us has left me speechless! Our architect, ✔️! Our landlord/contractor ✔️! Our electrician, ✔️! Our plumber, ✔️! My entire staff sticking with me, ✔️! And to my clients and doggies…we miss you so much! We will see you soon! ✔️✔️✔️!

Update! We are in the process of securing our new space in Tallmadge! It’s going to take a little time, but we are moving in the right direction. More to come soon, I promise! Also, we are transferring our land line to a mobile line in order to keep the same phone number. The transfer will be completed on September 9th! Thank you for standing by me and my team! We are in process of finding a new location. We are not permanently closing, just moving. While we navigate through this process, all inventory is marked down effective August 6th. It is with a heavy and devastated heart, I am announcing the closure of Rub My Belly Doggie Spa effective August 20th, 2026. We are currently working with a commercial realtor to quickly find a new space. This will take some time, but rest assured we will reopen. We built this business from the ground up and we will re-build again. I want to thank all of my clients for your support of our small business. It has been a successful 10 years and we have overwhelmingly enjoyed the time spent with your dogs. It’s not over, just a pause while we look for a new location. We will be grooming now through August 20th while the rest of the month will be used to move equipment. I know many of you are scheduled through the end of the year and I will be working diligently to reopen in a new location. ❤️-Angie
