Fun times at the nuthouse today! New friends came for visits. Its always chaotic when new friends come. Everybody wants to meet em, sniff em, bark at em lol, or eat em! Raegan and Thor arent the most social and Emmy the Aussie is friendly but doesnt like chaos so yards were split up a tad different today so everybody could be outside and not have conflict. Emmy, Casper, and Booms chiled in one, Emmie the OG(aka Auntie Em), Jake and Elsa in another and of course Honey and Jax together in the 3rd. Everybody else had to chill solo but after a field romp and walk, they didnt object . Poor Thor ended up beside Floof and kept giving him the funniest look everytime he barked at him! Thor is probably a good 130 pounds! Floof looks like a chi to him! Hes a sweet boy but isnt a fan of Floof! Raegan ran so much today I think she may have actually been tired! Lol its been quiet since they all went in and had last out walk! Shockingly.
Well days been busy and lots of walks! Im beat! Night all!!

Introducing the newest breed of Doodle, the Staffadoodle!! 😀 Since everybody adopts the oodles of doodles fairly quickly, Peggy has decided to convert in hopes of finding her forever home too!! 😀 The newest designer breed is available. Super sweet, 1 to 2 years old, great with people, prefers not to share with other pups so no others in the home, house trained, crate trained, loves cuddles, pretty good on walks, super playful, loves car rides or snuggling on the couch, low energy, low drive, and ready to make you her person!! How was everybodys Tuesday?? Fun times at the nuthouse of course. Casper is doing great with training. Boomer is in in love with Emmie. Follows her all over the place! Emmie has no opinion on this lol! Honey and Jax are convinced something is under the dirt and have started to dig out whatever it might be. Nice deep extraction point I will fill back up in the AM so they can do it again! Jake has taught himself a new trick, opening the gate! He loves sneaking in to play with Honey and Jax. Elsa stays in the original yard. I dont think shes a big fan of Honey but they dont bother with each other. She likes playing with Jax though.
Floof has decided allowing me to brush him is actually kinda nice, well after he accepted the reality that him acting like Kujo at 20 pounds wasnt going to work to stop me from brushing him! He decided he liked it after all! Started pushing into the brush especially on his back! Boys got an attitude but I can understand why.
K***e and Candy have both decided walks are life. The more the better especially if they are allowed to deep sniff EVERYTHING! 😀
Everybody is tucked in, lots of friends coming tommorrow. Most are antisocial though so I see lots of walks in my future lol. Chicken feet for some, Cow ears for others and Im off.to bed. Night all.

Day 6 for Casper. He loves to learn. He is doing so well. This boy has a bunch of energy but does fantastic with routine. He is very excited lol ALL the time!! Typical 1 year old Golden 😀 😀 He will have several new friends to meet this weekend because whew we are full full!! 😀 Lots of progress for Mr. Casper.

Everybody had a super fun day today. Temps were awesome again! Casper did fantastic with training and learning to settle. Hes also learning to wait for food, thats been a struggle for him but he is starting to catch on. Yay. Once he understands to wait and let me put his food down, I will show him wait also means doorways! Hes a sweet, super active pup but smart and likes to learn new stuff 😀
Booms got to chill with Jake and Elsa for an out rotation. Jake was not aware that Booms is a Dobe in disguise and decided he was gonna try to bully Booms! Ha, that lasted all of 2 seconds and Jake said oh ok, I gotcha little dude! Lol they played happily after that!
Jax and Honey are still getting along fantastically. Jake and Elsa has snuck in with them a few times and they all get along. Kinda surprised since Jake isnt fixed, soon to come, but they are ok with him.
Well pups have been out for last outs and Im ready for some cheesecake 😀 Hope everybody had a fantastic day!

Meet Candy! She's somewhere between 1 and 2 years old and is looking for her forever home. She's got a past that no dog should ever have to endure. Candy suffered severe abuse, but somehow, this girl hasn't let the world turn her bitter. She doesn't hold grudges. She just keeps loving, living, and plotting the complete extinction of the squirrel population. 🐿️💀

🚗 Road Trip Queen: Say the word "car ride" and Candy is READY. Windows down, ears flapping, destination irrelevant. She's just happy to be included!

🚶‍♀️ Adventure Buddy: Love walks? So does Candy! She's ready to stretch those legs, sniff every blade of grass, and make memories with her favorite human.

🐿️ Professional Squirrel Eradicator: Candy takes backyard security VERY seriously. If a squirrel dares to enter her territory, consider it officially served with an eviction notice. No appeals. No negotiations.

How in the world has this sweet girl not found a home in FOUR YEARS!!! You read that right, 4 years in rescue and not a single home!!! How?? This girl is low energy, loves walks, doesnt really pull on the leash, is fine with other dogs, seems a little too interested in cats but IDK that she would actually chase them, low drive, super cuddly, med sized, crate trained, house trained, doesnt guard food or toys, loves to be brushed, is ok with water, loves chewies, I mean what else can I say about her!!!! Emmy needs a home!! She needs a person that is going to love her, take her for walks, make her a part of their life. Four years is long enough!! Somebody has been looking for that unicorn dog, well here she is!!! Not sure, just come meet her, spend some time with her, bring her a pup cup she loves them! Peggy girl!! Still looking for a home! Super sweet, playful pup between 1 and 2 years old. Doesn't want to share attention so no other dogs in the home. She loves to go for walks, low energy but likes to play for short periods, has zero idea of her size so I have to recommend no small children. She may accidently knock them over! House trained. Crate trained. Doesn't chew on things she isnt allowed to have. Low maintnance. Adoption fee covered. With training she would make a great PTSD or emotional support companion. She is a goof! Gives you the tappy tappy paws every morning. Someone give this sweet girl her happy ever after!! Her boarding is up and I do not want to force her back to the shelter. She was on euth list when she was pulled by a foster. If you cant adopt, foster! If you cant foster, donate for her boarding fees and food. If you cant donate, share! Let's get this girl a home!!
