Thank you to everyone who voted and participated in the 2 for 1 Voting last night!

Our fundraiser saw a huge boost, and we're now at almost $24,000 raised towards helping animals in need through emergency surgeries, basic vetting, care, supplies, and the many other expenses that come up through our mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Educate. We're now more than halfway to our goal, and only a few days away from the end of the contest.

The last day of voting has historically been even crazier than our 2 for 1 voting night, so last night, when you were refreshing and refreshing the page - imagine doing that with a beer in your hand surrounded by friends new and old!

We invite you to watch the final hours play out at the Calendar Contest Countdown! at Proof Brewing Company!

Bring cardboard cutouts, posters, or even the star of the show themselves to help encourage others to vote! That's right, pets are welcome, either leashed or in a stroller, to meet their adoring fans.

Baskets full of fun goodies will also be raffled off, and the night will be filled with live music provided by Ethan Kyllonen, laughter and good times, and bonding with other animal lovers; united for a common cause.

We’re almost halfway to our fundraising goal, and less than a week away from the end of the contest, where the top 13 will be photographed by Black & Hue Photography and featured on the 2027 LCHS Calendar!

Sadie (the Unofficial Mascot of America in View!) is competing in a great cause, the annual calendar contest of the Leon County Humane Society. Sadie would love to get some votes so the Society can get some needed donations. Vote here: https://gogo.photo/654616

Sadie was a rescue 7 years ago after being tethered and suffering from heart worms and malnutrition. She just turned 14 and, while she was recently diagnosed with a neurological disease, she is still the happiest girl. Walks may have been replaced by wagon rides and back yard exploring replaced by porch sits, but she still loves her stuffed animals and treats.

Congrats to Olive, Camp MoJo's Camp Champ!

Camp Mojo's chose one of their campers to rally behind and made a generous donation to their winner, Olive, which rocketed her into first place!

Accompanying her in the top 13 are
Obi, representing Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital: one of our amazing vet partners,

Winston, representing Growler Country; they recently opened a new location that you HAVE to check out!

Pearl, available for adoption through our program;

Cheese and Sadie who were adopted from City of Tallahassee - Animal Service Center;

Ghost, adopted from our adoption partner Tally Cat Cafe;

Eloise & Lil' Mister, saved from the streets of Tallahassee,

Sunny, who does a handstand when she pees;

Pepper, adopted from us; and

Bacchus and Bojangles, foster fails from us!

We love the diverse top 13 we have right now, and we'd be happy if it stayed just like it is at this moment - but we have lives to save, vet bills to pay, programs to run, and hundreds of animals depending on us. Not to mention, kitten and puppy season never truly stopped, but we're in the heat of it right now!

So, we need mix things up and get closer to our fundraising goal!

For a limited time, every $1 donation that normally equals 1 vote will count as 2 votes.

A bonus like this can completely shake up the leaderboard. Underdogs can surge to the top, new contestants can break into the Top 13, and every vote becomes twice as powerful.

We know our current Top 13 have worked hard to earn their spots, and we want to keep the competition fair while continuing to raise critical funds for the hundreds of animals who depend on us. So, while this bonus can change the race, it won’t guarantee anyone a win.

Here’s the catch: the bonus voting period will only last four hours - from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23rd.

We're spending today shouting it from the rooftops to make sure everyone knows. So, get prepared, bank your votes so they're ready to use, and make sure you've got the Calendar Contest Countdown! at Proof Brewing Company on your calendar for the final hours of voting, because this last week of voting is going to be hotter than it is outside 🥵

You're not going to want to miss out on the competition, the fun, the raffles, or seeing some of these competitors in the fur!

Camp MoJo's is more than daycare, it’s a dream doggy getaway with enrichment activities, routine, structure, positive reinforcement, and play with other pups in small groups.

It’s no surprise that being crowned the Camp Champ is a coveted prize, and we can’t wait to see who wins and earns those bonus votes!

😃 Tomorrow at 5pm, the new Camp MoJo's Calendar Camp Champ will be crowned! 🏆 Will it be Olive, Clancy, or Benny❓❓ We've got a clear frontrunner: Olive with 872 votes! But don't count Clancy and Benny out...just like in the main calendar contest, the top spot for Camp Champ often comes down to the last few minutes! ⏱⏱⏱

It’s everyone’s favorite time: Front-Runner Friday!

We have had some BIG changes in the leaderboard this last week! We might be over half-way through, but that doesn’t mean underdogs can’t still rise up and overtake the current top spots. We’ve seen some crazy stuff happen in the last full week of the contest!

There’s still plenty of time to submit your pet and rally everyone to vote for them! Every dollar raised goes back to helping animals in need.
